Even though I didn't make it through all of the things I decided to commit to, I did make it through some and made some awesome memories in 2009:
- I will not talk down to myself. Still not prefect on this front, but definitely improved over the year.
- I will not think that someone and/or myself thinks I am not good enough, until they imply or say it. Then I will laugh at them and prove them and myself wrong.
- I will sketch at least one thing a day.
- I will practice a language for at least an hour a day, until I am comfortable in conversation with it. Then I will plan a trip to use that language. Wash, Rinse, and Repeat. Okay, so maybe I didn't practice a language for an hour a day, but I did get to go to Spain and use the little bit of Spanish I remember... very awesome memories created and shared with Ash.
- I will build a robot this year (with or without help). Well, I may not have built a robot, but I did build a radio!
- I will travel to at least one foreign country this year (with or without a partner in crime). Yay, Spain!
- I will workout at least 30 to 45 mins a day. I have actually started doing this for the most part.
- I will stop stressing over things that may or may not be true, if there is nothing I can do to change. Hell, even if there is something I can do to change it, I won't stress... I will focus on find a solution. I'm good at focusing on finding a solution. Although, I still stress a little too much, but exercise is helping with that.
- I will earn my Amateur Extra this year.
- I will learn to enjoy smiling, again. I am very privileged to have so many awesome people in my life, that it is hard not to smile more.
- I am going to be involved with volunteering more. Volunteered with Food and Friends, Marine Corp Marathon and planning to add WARL this year.
- I will enter an art competition.
Now, it's time to make a new list and see what I can get through this year. I still have a lot of self work to do, but I have made progress and will work to make even more progress in 2010. Well, time to get back to work.
