Baking
This coming Sunday is our kick-off to the new year of programs and ministries at church.
We're having a shortened service, with a barbecue lunch to follow, and entertainment from our folk music group, a cakewalk, the rector's pie auction (all proceeds to hurricane relief), a camping demonstration and marshmallow roast by our Boy Scout troop, puppets, and a strolling violinist.
I'm baking a fudge pie and a custard pie for the pie auction, and possibly making a chocolate syrup cake for the cake walk.
