HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, today is the big day. . .and I'm all ready!

Yesterday I got my dryer fixed (bows to the gods of major appliance repairmen) and then we had our neighborhood trick-or-treat (for little bitty kids--as in very preschool) early yesterday evening. I had a tiny vampire, Little Red Riding Hood, a leopard, a lion (must have been Big Cat night) and Superman come to call.

When that wrapped up, I went down to Victorian Village for the Paranormal Investigators tour of the Mallory-Fontaine House--complete with photographs and sound recordings of the ghosts that haunt the home. Then we had a tour of the home, and I swear to you, in one room on the third floor I felt a definite cold spot--and I was not in the line of a draft or open window. Make of that what you will. (cue eerie music).

Back home to a neighbor's Halloween party--I dressed as a witch (black cassock, sparkly cape, cat stole, lace gloves with the fingers out (unintentional, I might add), pointed toe black shoes, my hat and wand. Had a great time visiting--no Jello shots for me last night (the last Jello shots I had did me in), but lots of Zombie Punch and ghost balls (spinach wrapped up in pastry puffs), chips and a yummy spinach dip. We sat around the firepit and just had a lovely time. Oh, and a little kid there had the most adorable elephant costume on--we had fun making elephant noises at each other!

Tonight, of course, is the BIG night, and I'm ready to go!

Hope all of you have a happy and safe, bootiful and spooktacular, Halloween!
