An Unexpected Happy

Our larger community (composed of 3 distinct neighborhoods) has begun honoring people from each of those 3 areas that are especially dedicated to making their neighborhoods better places to live.

I got an email yesterday informing me that my neighborhood association had selected me as the honoree from our neighborhood, which was a complete surprise to me, and made me very happy. :)
