Summer yesterday, Winter Today
Oh, welcome to the never-ending circus wheel that is Memphis weather. Yesterday I went out for a walk/run in the afternoon, and came back dripping with sweat.
Today, it's not even out of the 40s.
In other news, a road trip this weekend for my youngest niece's wedding down in Hueytown, Alabama (close to Birmingham). I'm giving a bridesmaids' luncheon Saturday, so I'm driving down there Friday morning and coming back home Monday.
The wedding is actually Sunday afternoon at 4, in a state park that has a small church in it. The wedding ceremony's in the church, and the reception is in the school house in the same park.
Now that the weather's changed on us, I can still wear the outfit I had planned for the luncheon--a skirt with burgundy, navy and black on a cream background, with a burgundy top, black ballet flats and a black sweater, but for the wedding itself I'm not sure. Oh well--still a day and a half to figure that out.
