Going to dinner with friends tonight and then to a Ruach service at a local synagogue--it's a music service, similar to an Evensong in an Episcopal or Anglican church.
Dinner's at the Macaroni Grille, so I'm not having lunch--treated myself to a big breakfast this AM at Perkins--eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns, with non-pulpy OJ.
Then I'm making a casserole and some Valentine's Day nibblies tomorrow for a woman at church who's just had some arm surgery, and her husband definitely doesn't cook--he runs to Vienna sausages! ;)
I've never put much stock in Friday the 13th--it's another day on the calendar, so apologies in advance to any triskaidekaphobes on my flist.
Just read where someone was ranting about theists and how they're (we're) mainly intolerant of others and reluctant to call our own down--my only comment to that is that that's a pretty damn broad brush to paint all believers with.
