When Mild Isn't Mild

I went with a friend for lunch today after church to a place called Swanky's Tacos--not new, but new to us.

It reminded me of a Tex-Mex Subway--you go down a line, tell the first server what kind of "bread" you want (soft taco, hard taco, etc.), then add meat, sauce, & toppings.

I had soft tacos with ground beef, diced tomatoes, mild sauce and shredded Mexican cheese. Ye Gods--the first bite I took that had some sauce in it almost made me reach for the fire extinguisher. Their mild is what I consider "hot"--I have wimpy taste buds, in case you haven't figured it out.

The meat was tasty and well-cooked, but next time--NO SAUCE.
