Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
There's nothing like feeling rested and good--not much to do today (laundry in the dryer, dishes clean, cats fed, b'day gifts purchased)--it's a good lazy summer Saturday.
Looking out at my dogwood trees in the front yard, I can see the leaves on the white one (the larger of the two) starting to acquire a semi-rosy glow. It's still summer, but fall is coming.
After the brutal heat we had at the end of July and early August, it's downright nice here now. Our evening temps have been down in the 60s, which is almost unprecedented for Memphis in summer. I actually snuggled under a blanket last night, and it felt good.
