Here's a recipe free for the taking--I made this to take to the Lundi Gras party tonight for my EFM group.
First brown a pound of ground beef.
Pour that into a frozen pie crust--I used standard size, not deep dish.
Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 2 eggs, onion powder (about 1/3 of a tablespoon), and 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese.
Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the ground beef, and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
In other news, I've also got a bag full of Mardi Gras decorations (beads, feathers, tinsel, etc.) and 2 bottles of wine (red and white), along with the paper goods, to take to the festivities tonight.
Then tomorrow (Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day) the youth group at church is having a pancake supper, so my day is shaping up to be voting, miscellaneous house cleaning, etc., getting my 10% discount at my local bookstore for voting, and then heading out for pancakes. Yummy!
