Have just rewatched The Fall with
fandom.
And I just. Can I just.
give me a moment. *deep breaths*
(the text below kinda contains spoilers for TRF, but I won't be placing them under a cut. 'kay? 'kay.)
The first time I watched it, I didn't pay any special attention to the very last scene, the last ~15 seconds, I think. 20 seconds at max. Yeah, that scene. Because it generally serves one very specific purpose.
BUT.
I'm rewatching it again and again and I just can't stop.
First, let me just say something about music. That very simple piece of music which is just the main theme if you start it from G, not C; in another tonality (and whoa, I picked the right note from the first time). But it's GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL.
And then there's Sherlock. And his face. Just about 10 seconds of his face.
But which, for more, conveys so much. Especially the eyes, ofc, which are fixed on John and are so full of emotion I can hardly talk of it. It's so amazing. So bloody amazing.
I think I've just moved on a whole new level of appreciation for Benedict as an actor. Because I adore him and did before, but this is just adfsdafsghjadssadfgdsafkgjdfsajkhlasldhfdasf
...yeah.
BRB, gonna make some close-up gifs.
and cry some more.
