Oh, wow.

The amount of New Ideas that can work with Hunger Games fic always astounds me, but this might be one of the most creative I've seen (especially in terms of integrating a crossover). I think the animals you picked for each character are so subtle and so perfect. I think my favorite was Foxface's bug, because I love the mystery of Foxface and she might be my favorite THG character.

I think my other favorite touch to your story was that Peeta's mother's daemon is a snapping turtle. She's such a bitch.

Anyway, this is really wonderful. :)

And yeah, the first time I read through the Hunger Games, I didn't pay much attention to Foxface, except to be all ;____; when she died, even though I knew she was going to have to, because everybody dying was sad in that book, even the rotten characters like Glimmer and Cato. The second time I read it through, she became instantly more fascinating, because she survives to be one of the last four gladiators, and yet we don't ever learn her real name.

It's been years since I've read HDM, and I remember thinking they definitely weren't my favorite books out there, but hngh do I love daemon fic :D This is amazing and you are awesome and the animals you picked for each person were absolutely perfect ♥

CONFESSION TIME. I didn't actually read HDM. Well, okay, I read the Amber Spyglass, and I skimmed the Subtle Knife, by which I mean, I skipped to all the parts that had Will and Lyra in it. I was twelve or something, so all the deeper, theological subplots of HDM were lost on me. I should maybe give them another chance, and actually, like, read Golden Compass this time.

BUT UNTIL THEN, I WILL LOVE AND LOVE DAEMON FIC. AND THEN WRITE SOME. AND LOVE IT SOME MORE.

You know how much I love your writing? LIKE A LOT! Seriously you just have this way with words, you could write like a load or babble and I'd still be reading it going, oh oh oh. Your writing is that good.

When I was having the thinking thoughts on what everyone would have as their daemon I couldn't come up with anything solid for Peeta, but a kinkajou is completely adorable and I love how you separated his daemon from his families.

I'm assuming it was intentional, but I love that you added Prim's daemon flicking to a goat and house cat. I adore the scenes you chose too. I just want more of this.
