I know what you mean... it annoys me to no end, such lines...
I'm happy when people review. It shows me their interest and appreciation. But I'd never ask for, or more, demand them.
Maybe those who don't get reviews should also *get* the message...

People still do it... unfortunately. By now I've come to the conclusion that when someone already asks for reviews in their summary, the story just can't be good. Just like a story is not worth reading when the summary says "I suck at summaries - but story is good!"
That's the problem with *everyone* being allowed to post a story (or whatever they call a story)...
