Harvey can still remember the day the kid came in, looking gaunt and tired, with a bruise across his cheek that Harvey later found out came from the kids smart mouth, blue eyes that burned with an intelligence that could be life threatening out here when the only intelligence you needed was the one that kept your head down and eyes averted
