Made hostel booking. I think I missed two nights (the night before I leave, since I leave at 6am and so I'll need to be there by like, 3am anyway~, and then one other where I figure I'll just wander around and enjoy nightlife or travel somewhere overnight or something).
Picked up a some more winter-friendly skirts, although I went there looking for wool and somehow even though I found some wound up not buying any wool ones. ~_~ I'm good at that. The wool one that looked nice fit funny, though, so I got a sweater skirt and this other one that's super soft and pretty thick, so it should still be decent in the cold.
Still need to find some hats. You wouldn't think decent winter hats would be so hard to find, but they are. D: I bought one over Thanksgiving, but it probably wont work well if it gets windy, so I want one that fits more to my head.
But yeah. Goal is to not bring too much stuff, just carry-on. They have laundry services at the hostel, so there's really no excuse for not packing light except that I'm ridiculous. And that winter clothes are thick and take up space, but let's try to work around that as much as possible.
I'm so bad at multitasking with all of this. :/ I'm kind of preparing for too many trips at once. Since I'm going home for like, one day max, and then coming back up to north as part of a vacation with my family, and then to Scotland, and then when I return I'm going straight from the airport back to school to move. So I'm bringing some things home, but I have to be careful what I bring, because that means I wont have it for awhile when I get back. @_@;
One more paper to go, and two finals, and then all I have left to focus on is Christmas shopping and travel planning, woo~ And work. There's always work.
Plan for tomorrow is deposit paycheck, haircut?, pick up travel plug adapters, hat shopping?, dinner party, ???, profit!
Kind of annoyed with myself lately. Or I guess annoyed is the only way I can really put it. Sort of have mixed feelings about emotions in general, which is kind of funny, really.
Celebrated Hanukkah today. Latkas are pretty tasy, and we're making some more soon hopefully~ Totally awkward time with the Dean of the Pharmacy school. At least my name sounds relatively Jewish, so I passed that test and failed the "are you a pharmacy student?" test. At least the Japan thing was moderately interesting for him, but I think my interest in anthropology killed it. Kinda figured it would.
They had Christmas stickers so I made a nondenominational holiday card at one of the tables. :D; They had Hanukkah stickers too, but there were more Christmas themed stickers so yeah. o.O;
Anyhow, happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate it and even those who don't~
And I should be off. Need to start waking up earlier if I'm actually going to make it to any of my finals. @_@;
