Lolwut. I got IDed for the first time regarding alcohol! :D
I've concluded that I'm secretly Merlin. :D
My logic being that at 12, I kept getting hit on by college age guys and winning those "guess your age" games at carnivals and having bartenders go "... are you sure you only want soda?", but now that I've been 21 for 3 months or so it's suddenly all "ARE YOU REALLY 21?"
So clearly, I must be aging backwards or something?
Maybe it's not quite as bad as Merlin. There's a Merlyn in my family, but he's a few generations back, so any reverse aging he might have introduced into our genetics should have dispersed a bit by now? o.O
But yeah. First time ever being carded besides that one time for Snakes on a Plane! (Ironically, that was right after I turned 18, so it was also okay for me to go to the movie without parental accompaniment too... Huh.)
Getting carded makes me lol so hard. I've been able to buy alcohol since I was 12, and just figured I shouldn't, but the second it's legal and I want to they're all "ID PLZ."
I keep forgetting about Merlyn. Probably because I met him once and don't really know how I'm related to him. But his existence really does kind of explain a lot, I guess?
