Question for the goths on my FL

Am hopefully purchasing some new good makeup after xmas. Its been so long since i bought any I'm not sure what am doing!

Other than the standards: Powder, Mascara & eyeliner. what else do I need?
Should i be doing this daytime/evening thing i.e.

Should I be getting 2 eye shadow 'palletes'?Should I be getting 2 lipsticks?
Co-ordinated nailvarnish?

Am thinking of getting the following from the Boots No7 range (pricey but I know am not allergic to it...Clinique of all things brings my excema up:
Powder
Mascara
Eyeliner
Brown shadow palette
Purple shadow palette
Dark lippy
Light/neutral lippy
blusher
