April 13th
Stayed in bed for a while, finished reading my book.
Went dress shopping with my mom. We didn’t find anything, but overall I think it was good that we spent time together and I think it probably helped her feel a bit better.
Went over to Jesse’s after dinner and we watched MORE Mad Men.

April 14th
Studied in the Math Lab until just after 1:30pm. Pretty good, especially considering how many people were in there and how loud it was.
Saw my student’s new puppy, Denbigh, he’s already twice as big as when I last saw him!
It finally feels like there’s something productive happening with this Bike Event I’m trying to plan for the New West Girl Guides.

April 15th
Slept in this morning ie. was not woken up at 6 by the coffee grinder and the kettle and people making breakfast.
Received $25 for cat-sitting this past weekend.
The Brownies went to the Sparks meeting tonight. The Sparks are totally cute. Really small and kind of speaking with their words slurred together still.

April 16th
Picnic with Sarah and Danielle in the sunshine!
Danielle and Sarah helped me get all the planospheres cut out and made for the Astronomy Sleepover. Pretty much everything is done, I just need to print out a few things.
Went to the pool for the first time in weeks!

April 17th
Saw Granddad. Though it’s sad to see the state he’s in due to worsening Alzheimer’s and other things, he does talk more and it felt like we had a few good, short moments.
Dad gave me a ride to the hall with all my overnight gear, paperwork, books on space, projector screen etc
Brownie Sleepover - The skies cleared and we got to see Saturn! My Physics teacher from last semester came in with a telescope, binoculars and tons of other stuff. It was great!

April 18th
Two of my students had lessons with my teacher. I sat in on one and was really impressed to hear how well they play. Part of it is that I’m normally listening and analyzing things as opposed to just listening, and the other part was that Anne seemed to know just what to say to get them to bring out the melody and get more of a balance in the pieces.
Jesse came over and kept me company in the afternoon. Poor boy, I was napping so much as I barely slept at the sleepover (no surprise there)
The “small dinner party” at the co-op turned out to be a pretty big event akin to Christmas. However, it was nice. My parents and Granddad came down, Jesse and I hung out with Rachel and Tony in the less busy parts of the house.

April 19th
Lots of studying.
I hosted 2 applicants this evening. They both seem really nice and I have to admit I’ve got a bit of a girl crush on one.
Keri is visiting!! We went out to the pub after dinner (with Colin, Chris, Rachel and Rachel’s friend) for a drink and chat.
