Berlin
It's amazing how a 1 hour and forty minute flight can consume your day from 8AM to 6PM... The time travelled is almost irrelevant.
Anyway Berlin is nowhere near as lovely as Paris, however I've come to count on the germans for at least being a practical efficient people. The airport arriving was a non event and it was one train to the hotel which has free wi fi!!! Woo hoo. There's also a giant aquarium in the center of the atrium with an elevator inside it.
Last night we had dinner at Atilier de Maitre Albert with Russell's friend Jason. It was nice to have a third person to talk to. The food was pretty low key and the wine list was reasonable so Russlee sprung for a Bordeaux. While the places we've visited have had world class wine lists they're usually astronomically priced. The Euro hit an all time low today as well.
I liked what little taste of nightlife I got in Hamburg a few years ago and am looking forward to more. >:)
I am starting to miss Atlanta a bit but I'll be back Wednesday.
