time keeps on going
Hello all! Once again I realise it's been forever since I updated this thing. Real life swollowed me up! My holiday was awesome btw, aside from family members trying to marry me off as my reproductive days are limited (oh I'm practically ancient at 24!) LOL
Things have been sorta awesome lately. While I've been doing 80 hour weeks the past couple of months it's been fun. I'm working clinically now and have just finished with two specialisations; perioperative care and dementia specific palliative care. Weird mix I know >.< It feels weird to have my life back. No more study, at least for the next two months. My internship is over! Graduated with distinction *beams*
Work has been kinda awesome! One of my patients named a tumor after me! Also have been able to run around like a loon making people laugh as I do my rounds - very rewarding :)
I'm happy with where I'm going, but can't help feeling somewhat confused about where to go from here. Do I finish uni here in Syd or out rural? Do I stick with nursing? Paramedical? Medical science? ARGH
In other news I'm on a protein only diet for the next week. This makes me very irritable >.>
