status report (ea chapter ten)
I have been terribly negligent of my promise to keep you informed of the update-status for Elective Affinities -- apologies!
It will probably not surprise you to hear that Chapter 10 is fully planned. Unfortunately, very little of it has actually been written. I am concurrently working on finishing a chapter of my master's thesis and that has, unfortunately, been taking precedence. Nonetheless, I have blocked off space on the weekends for writing, so the chapter is -- slowly but surely -- materialising.
How long will it take until I'm ready to post? I'm afraid I don't know. Severus has a way of changing his mind about his lines a million times before he's satisfied with them, and Dumbledore is astonishingly difficult to grasp. (Am I alone in fandom for actually liking his character, if not necessarily the way JKR put him to use?) Anyway, I don't wish to ramble, so -- until soon!
