Mayor crisis over here!
Last thursday was may 1st., Labor day, and a holiday almost all over the world. I was SO happy, because it meant that I got to come home a day early and I was gonna be home than night to download Lost and The Office as soon as I could.
I've been actually waiting all week for thursday to come and super excited to see this particular episode of Lost.
But to my surprise, when I got home around noon, I find that the computer in my house is tubed off, witch is odd because usually it's on 24 - 7. Bad sing right there. So I proceed to push the "Power" button and to my surprise, it doesn't work.
I go and ask my brother, what the hell's going on? and he explains to me that it's not been working for a couple of days now. By this moment I'm starting to freak out, and then he continues, and tells me than he took it to a place to get it fixed and they told him they were booked and couldn't even take a look at it for 2 weeks. So by this point I'm officially freaked out. I was so happy to be home a day early and so excited about the next episode of Lost and now I couldn't download it that night , AnD I would have to wait God knows how long to be able to watch it.
Then I remembered that my older brother was also coming home for the weekend, and we would bring his laptop with him. So I calmed down a little bit. I would have to wait 'til friday night to have a computer at my disposal.
As it turns out, I already had plans for friday night, and I came home way too late, so I had to wait until saturday afternoon to get my hands on my bothers laptop, and thank God, since he's also a Lost fan, he'd already downloaded it. So while I was FINALLY watching, drooling over jack, and rewinding and re- watching all the Jate scenes (shut up, let me enjoy them now that we finally got them together), I started downloading The Office as well.
Today my brother is going to take our computer to and old guy I went to school with to see if he can fix it. And if things go well, it'll be back and working pretty soon, and I won't have to go through all this suffering again. If it takes longer I'm gonna have to wait until the weekend for my bother to bring his laptop home and get my little internet - fix then; meaning that I'll have even less internet access than before :(
We'll see what happens.
I haven't really read almost any reactions to the Lost epi, so I don't know if people liked it or not. But being a Jack episode and having all the Jate we got I really don't care that much about anything else that happened :D .
I was very giddy during all of it, and actually don't really believe it all happened yet. We've waited so long for this that makes it a little hard to believe we finally got it. But since this is Lost, it's obvious that they would not let it all end happily. Though we all know that is not the end.
Oh!, and when Jack came down the stairs, wearing only a towel btw *drools*, I totally knew it was Kate's house so that made me giddy right there. :D
I wont comment on specific things right now because I still can't form many coherent thoughts. I just liked the episode, besides the obvious reasons. Sawyer was actually pretty good. Jin wins at life, Juliet was a real grown up about the Jack- Kate situation, despite her own feelings for Jack. Yeah, I like her.
I would like to say more but at this moment i don't really remember much else. I just love my Jack and I hate to see him suffer *hugs him*
I need some new Jate icons :)
I'm sorry this became so long. it's been a while since I've written anything I guess.
I miss you guys. Life's going well and this weekend I saw friends I hadn't seen in a long time, so that made me happy.
