so to all of you who dont know, i went to chicago this weekend with cat and my art history class. it was AMAZING in every single way. it was me and cat and adam breedent hangin out most of the time. we had OH SO MUCH fun.

i had to get up at 3:30 in the morning (!) on friday so i could be at ius to meet up with everyone at a quarter till 5. we figured out which car we would be riding in and loaded up our gear (LOL) it ended up being me and cat and adam in the back of a automatic neon blue pt cruiser WITH a turbo charger (hot shit i know, but brent was so proud of his car so i had to say it) driven by brent, some gothic rebelous kinda guy with a heart of gold and nathan. the REALLY REALLY REALLY mean hateful rude obnoxious pessimisic loner nerdy gaf i think i have ever met. i must say i dont enjoy his company. with comments like "what where your parents thinking when they named you ?!" how can you blame me. it was a fun 6 hour trip there and the time flew by. we had to get unplacked and bus passes when we got there. it didnt take long for me and cat to realize that staying with the group wasnt going to be very bearable this weekend. after we got our shit they all went to the Field museum but we had something else in mind...MICHIGAN AVE!!! we ate lunch at the cheesecake factory and had the most amazing chocolate peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake ever. then we went to urban and bought cool clothes. cute tees and glovy things and jackets and scarves. then we went walking up and down rush street going into fun stores like anthropolgie and denim something or another. when we went into the puma store we were approached by one of the most beautiful boys ever. he was so amazingly hot. and nice. he saw some shoes i was looking at and tried to get me to buy them. i went upstairs to look more and we were apprached by yet another ! hot boy who tried to sell the exact same shoes. after talking to that guy for a while turns out he wanted us to coming to some opening of a gallery of a friend of his so me and cat got a hot boys number. unfortunetly the opening was in a bar and ALAS! we are not 21 yet. next thing you know here comes the FIRST hot boy up the stairs. who knows why. maybe he was coming to check out some shoes for a customer, maybe he was coming to hit on me and cat. i like to think the second is the true one. he ended up asking us to come to some club he was gonna be DJing at but DAMNIT! no bars for us! god it always works out like this. like i would do something with a way hot older boy in chicago...but hey i can pretend. we went back to the hostel to see what was up with the whole dinner situation. other people went to the cheesecake factory, but since we already ate there me and cat decided to drag adam to the panera bread on the corner. that food was pretty good too. got a sandwiche and some kickass brocallie and cheese soup. went back to the hostel talked, bathed, and konked out because...well we got up at 3:30 that morning.

saturday morning got up and went to the Art Institute of Chicago. it was pretty huge. lots of gorgeous paintings and sculptures and other things. took 2 or 3 hours in there and didnt et through half of it i bet. after that took a bus to the Contemporary and checked out the Andy Worhal collection which was amazing and very gruesome. tried to get away from the group after that (there were some VERY VERY VERY annoying people in the group who went to chicago with us, but i will leave it to cat to tell you about them because i think she will do a better job) i had my first experience with the EL (i dont know if that is how you spell it, but that is how i am going to. its the train/subway system) went over to adison i think and got a slice of pizza at bacci's which was across the street from wrigley field. you got a slice of pizza as big as your head AND a FREE* soda. it was so good. i <3 bacci. free refills too. amazing. i am sure that you kids who are going to see motion city in a few weeks will make a stop by since it is but where they are playing...kinda. did some vinatge store shopping that was so cool. found a hat $10, some green shades $10, and a silver mother of pearl ring $15. really needed the hat because my face was just about falling off at that point from being chapped and windburnt. TAKE LOTS OF LOTION WHEN YOU GO AND PROTECT YOUR FACE!!!!! looked around for tattoo parlors for about 3 hours and finally found one. the chicago tattooing company. made an appointment for cat and adam and then we had to run back to the hostel for cat's sketch. we ALMOST got lost at that point. we started having this very interesting convo with a guy about how much adam sounded like a hillbilly and he was like so are you guys going south? and we were like no we are going to the loop to get to our hostel. he said that if we didnt get off the train now we would be going to CHINATOWN! lol that is not where we wanted to go. so we ran off the train and nivigated our way back to the hostel. that took a lil bit.

ACKK!!!! i gotta go but i will finish later!!!
