thats right i went to florida!
mk so if any of you did not know i went to florida last week. we went to orlando with uncle sonny aunt renee and their two kids. i primarily hung out with my cousin kaileigh who is 14, but she is still pretty fun even tho she is younger. she is kinda spoiled and into clothes and gossip and stuff so we got along great...lol.
we left on saturday and i was OH SO HAPPY i didnt have to ride in the durango with my family. i jumped in sonny's van that was loaded with dvd players and food. i also got to lay down on this big bed thing in the back while we rode. we stopped that night and didnt get there until the next day at like 4. it was HEATED POOL TIME and unpacking the rest of the night. the pool was really nice. the hot tub was nicer. i <3 hot tubs. it would have been fun to go topless and i know kai would have been up to it too but there were scary drunk men in there so that was a no.
we did this one thing called breakfast with mickey one day. you go to one of the hotels on the resort and they have this huge breakfast buffet but it is REALLY GOOD FOOD! anyways you get your plates and stuff and all the disney characters come around the table like every 15 minutes and sign autographs and take pictures. it was neat. lets see i saw mickey, minnie, goofy, pluto, chip and dale. we could have had breakfast with the disney princesses but that was like 80 bux.
i think we went to sea world that same day. sea world was AMAZING and i loved every single aspect of it. the animals were so interesting and the shows were entertaining (shanu was disappointing because it was like 10 minutes long but it was still shamu)i got to touch a dolphin and when we went down to see the tanks where they are swimming around.i got a picture of one and tim was like what is that? i had a dolphin penis in my picture! they were all over eachother so i guess they were mating or something. it was kind of gross but i guess that is nature for ya. we saw whales and sea lions and crocs and manitees. oh is was so sad at the manitee rescue center. they were the ones who had been hit by speed boats and jet skis. they had scares all over their bodies and some of them were missing flippers...i kind of got upset, but i guess it was good that the sea worl people rescued them and gave them a safe place to call home.
we passed two guys with and eagle and that was pretty amazing to see up close. i immedietly thought of emily and took some pictures. the bird started to flop around when a bunch of people came and you tell the guys were getting nervous so they took him back in. i dont really blame them i guess and i got my pictures.
it was kinda scary though because we found out the next day that terrorists had been arrested while we in the park. ack! what if they would have exploded something or drove a plane into shamus tank? that would have been traumatizing...all joking aside..that was scary.
disney was so much fun! i wish there would have been more rides for big people tho. i think that space mountain was my favorite. we rode all the rides that we possible could. a lot of them more than once. me and mom got lost for about an hour in fantasy land...rather...tim abandoned us to ride another ride while we were in a giftshop. the PHILARS MAGIC show was really neat. its like a movie theater and you wear the little glasses that make the screen jump out at you. it just goes through all the popular disney songs and stuff. like when they are doing the big meal song in beaty and the beast they spray food smell at you. and there was one with water and water sprayed out at you. that was probably one of the neatest things. i had good pizza there. and funnel cakes too. pirates of the carribean was amazing! all the figures looked so real in it. aw and we got to see the princess show. it was so neat to see all these girls that you admire so much when you are little in real person. they were all so beautiful . and there was a light up parade at the end of the night. that was one of my favorites as well. you could get really close to all of the people. i got to see peter pan and ariel. man disney world had me pooped. we just walked and walked.
we went to cocoa beach one day. i <3 the beach. i wish we could have been on the beach every day. the ocean wasnt that cold either. the girls got in it with their swimsuits. we saw a BUNCH of sting rays. they were brown tho and i have never seen brown ones. mk answer me this all u smart people...do sting rays sting? like with their tails? i know it was a bad idea but tim kept trying to cathc one. he finally did and i yelled at him to let him go because he was either gonna hurt it or it would have hurt him...or both.
we went to this place called downtown disney one day. it had a lot of little dinsey shops and princess shops and stuff. and they had food and a virgin records and a movies theater and stuff. it was all outdoors tho and raining so the first half of the day was misery. i did find this one stand that was cool tho. you picked a clam out of a big bucket and they open it up for you and there is a pearl inside. you dont know what color or size you are gonna get until you open it up tho. kai got a black pearl which is very rare, but hers was small. debbies was white and small but mine was white and HUGE! 6.9 mm i think. i had it mounted on a silver necklace. it was so exciting i promise. we also got to eat at the rainforest cafe that night which i adore.
over all the weather was pretty good while we were there. 70s most of the time. and it didnt rain a whole lot. i was really glad i ended up deciding to go at the last minute but i have been swamped with schoolwork ever since i got back. i think i am just now starting to catch up again. i posted my pictures from my digital on facebook, but my battery died while we were there so i have a lot on film too...i dont know if i will be able to get those up since i dont have a scanner. but i am sure that if u are interested enough we can find a way for you to see them.
i have been putting off writing this because i knew it was going to be long and maybe boring for you guys, but i thought u might like to know how my trip went.
