I've decided that the existence of God and the existence of Jolynn Paige are mutually exclusive. I refuse to believe in a God who could create that woman. Therefore, Jolynn Paige exists as proof that God does not exist.
Also, my Mother seems to think that she's Jewish. We received a telephone call from Kosher Kornucopia (I'm just guessing that it uses K, I prefer it that way). She sent her mother an apple cake, which then had to be changed to rugelach because of unavailability of apple cake. We are hoping her mother has no clue what rugelach is and doesn't understand what kosher is. Maybe she'll drink it with her Manischewitz wine, which she also does not realize is a Jewish thing. What's worse is that she (and I almost cannot admit this for the shame) donated money to Hillel. I mean, Jewish News Service maybe, Jewish Defense League, ok, but HILLEL?! It's almost worse than donating to some Zionist Extremist group, and for my personal feelings worse. THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO LEAVE US ALONE.
I feel that even existentialism doesn't cover this. Nothing is that random. I think there must be a force much darker in the world.
However, the new OD in Suttons Bay is named Randy U'Ren. There may be a God afterall.
