A lesson in not walking the streets of Madison at 12 am...
Yeah its a bad idea to walk home alone, and every time i do it I tell myself "never again!"...but then I feel so bad asking people to walk with me only to walk back to their place afterward. Tonight this totally sketch guy came up and asked me if I had a cigarette. Since I don't smoke, I said "Sorry, I don't smoke" to which he replied (with a disturbing leer) "Neither do I" He was really old and really creepy, so I crossed the street and walked on. THEN this guy who was either a) a bum or b) really drunk and dirty was like "How you doin' cutie?" To which I made no reply, and ran away. No, I actually said, "fine" with a bit of a tremor in my voice and walked confidently on. I finally made it home unscathed, but yeah, Madison a night is not for the weak of heart.
