Last night was very fun. My friends Kari and Cassie came up from Milwaukee and we all went out. I didn't drink, as usual, but they all did, and it was alot of fun. Its weird because I've been friends with these girls since approximately the third grade. Its as if we never parted. I feel like I will have these friends forever because we're the kind of friends that can not talk for a year and pick up as if we saw each other yesterday. Its a really lovely feeling, being so comfortable around people. Cassie almost broke her Coach shoes ;), and they apparently think this kid named Bob on my floor 'wants me bad'. I think they were just drunk. I think the name Bob is funny. Its like a fake name, like everytime someone makes up a generic name they're like "This is my friend, uh, 'Bob'. Like Bob Charles (who goes to Tech now, you guys should keep an eye out for him.) Ok college party scene is going to get old quickly I predict, especially since I don't drink and I'm not a fan of having beer spilled on me. I'm glad there are so many other things to do here. For example, last night at the union there was free clay sculpting from 9pm to 1am, which I really wanted to do. Next order of business...find someone equally excited about that kind of stuff as me. Today is the first home football game. I think I may be the only person on campus NOT going. No, I know there are others, but not many. I kind of wish I got season tickets, if not to go to the games just to make a profit off the tickets. People are charging a fortune, its ridiculous, really. There was also a poster sale at the Union last night when we went to the ice cream tasting (our union is celebrating its 75th anniversary and they're adopting a new ice cream flavor to commemorate..I voted for Union Utopia, although I was hoping Never Terrace Apart would be my favorite, just because I love word play so much.) I bought The Rose by Dali, Picasso's Petit Fleurs, and Van Gogh's Cafe Terrace at Night, in addition to a blue painting by an unknown artist, and to to complement the 3' by 5' Gustav Klimt print I already have on my wall. I love art. I should be a museum curator. Is it recommended that you be artisitic if you want to go into art? Like art history? Because I have very little artistic talent, but I absolutely love art. I should find out...
