Bit of a surprise
Mom hadn't been interested in a condo situation... until we saw one. Enough rooms (including drawers for the pots and pans in the kitchen), not very many steps to get into the unit (a few others we saw had stairs inside- which wouldn't be all that bad except they were going DOWN to the unit), reasonably close to the bus stop (we've been spoiled by where the stops are w-r-t here). And well within our price range.
She's decided to set up an offer on Monday, with luck closing upon return from California.
