update
Things are looking up a little bit :) I turn 21 on Tuesday...I'm just excited that I get to bake my own cake. Usually my mother is pretty controlling about what I am "allowed" to do in her kitchen, but lately I've roamed about in the kitchen however I want (as long as I clean up after myself, which, dude. Why the hell wouldn't I? :(). She isn't against experimenting, but she'd rather NOT do it, so she always goes for the safe food, which means she's really, really good at it. But I want to try new stuff, cause it's so much fun to cook and bake :-3 ANYWAY. For my birthday cake, I have one huge dilemma. Do I buy 21 candles to put on top of the cake, or do I buy a big candle shaped like a "2" and one shaped like a "1". Big decisions omg.
It's so hot here :( Hotter than in greece, apparently. I am hating it. Tomorrow me and the bf (it's his birthday today) are having a barbeque for a few friends as our mutual birthday celebration. Fun times, minue the HORRIBLE HOTNESS :( I'm going to be the bossy whiny girlfriend, I just know it. And after we have been fried in the sun for a couple of hours, we're going out for beers. It'll be nice...unless the grill won't work. I am so paranoid about these things, I should just be kept far, far away from all planning >:|
I'm going to this mini festival thing in June called "West coast riot" in my city. Bad Religion are one of the "big names" that are performing...Yay. I guess. I don't even listen to them. I listen to one band that's going to perform (out of like 12), which is DLK, which I saw live just two months ago :P Oh wells. Mostly I'm going because it's in my city, right by the harbour so it'll be gorgeous, and it's pretty cheap since there are so many bands. Hooray for summer plans.
My friend is going three different interviews for some unis she's applied to. And they are all across the country :/ Everyone is moving away from me, hmph. Why can't I just tie them down AND MAKE THEM STAYYY
