(no subject)
The countdown is on. Boyfriend arrives in...4 and a half hours. Siblings arrive in 5. Good god. Why did I invite him? Did I momentarily forget that my sister can be completely judgmental and sound totally condescending and demanding just when asking about the weather? Yes. Yes, I did. At least a lot of alcohol will be consumed later tonight at the bar. That, and the chocolate cake, is seriously the only things that's keeping me somewhat calm right now.
The muffins turned out okay, but not brilliant...I still need to tinker with the recipes a bit, change the oven temps and muffin sizes and whatnot. Baking is fun!
