I'm studying Law, yet we have a Theology subject?  To make matters worse, their prim, snotty-nosed, self-righteous thinking is REALLY getting on my nerves.  For example...

Honestly, you're surprised that you have to pray before and after class at a Catholic school? Seriously?

A professor told us that there's something fundamentally wrong with people who masturbate. And he is considered to be one of the best professors in the University. Imagine that.

Is he a priest or in any way a member of the clergy? Brother? Deacon? Clergymen are pretty much required to give the church's beliefs in their "preachings," even in school. I thought professors were allowed to say other things, but I could be mistaken.

Wait, I could have sworn you were American...are you not? And are you a guy or a girl? I thought you were a girl...I'm confused, darn these gender-vague screennames...

Oh, of course I expected to do some praying... just not that often. You see, our classes are bunched up together. You pray before a professor leaves, and just right after that professor leaves, a new professor comes in and then you have to pray all over again! It's ridiculous (and phony), I think.

Honestly, I have nothing about religions nor Catholics. I used to be one, after all. Come to think of it, I think I still am, though I'm in the "not practicing category."

Also, I expect men of the Church to have rather conservative views. I expect them to be anti-abortion, anti-divorce, anti-pre-marital sex, etc. But masturbation? Come on, what century are we anyways? :)

The Icon is Kanye West. During a national telethon(hopefully you know what those are) to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims, he made this really cool speech about donating money and time, and ended it with "George Bush doesn't care about black people" which really wasn't appropriate or backed up by any thing. Poor Mike Myers was standing beside him looking like he wan't to throw up. When Kanye hosted Saturday Night Live(Myers's old show) they did a great joke about Myers's US citizenship being cancelled and the FBI investigating his bank accounts and his parents.

Definitely not Damon Wayans though...that's funny that he's an American comedian that you know of...

Yeah, MM's eyes bugged out of his head and his face basically said, "Oh shit" then they cut to a commercial or something...I'm sure you could find the video on the internet. Just google "Kanye" "Katrina" "George Bush" or something like that. Its really funny and was really controversial over here.
