An update on the whole arm swelling thingie.
I'm not dead yay :D
My arm didn't become noticeably better until about 36 hours after I had my IV. After those 36 hours, the swelling went down a lot and (most importantly) the lymphangitis dissapeared, for the most part, which makes me really happy. I've continued to take the antibiotics every 6 hours, which is very annoying, since that means that I have to wake up at some point in the middle of the night to take them (one antibiotic and one pain killer, since it does bother me a bit).
The pain has gotten MUCH better, to the point that I at times don't really notice it at all, which is a very good thing. The only major annoyance I have at this point is posted below, but it's a bit of a TMI (involving body excretions yay), so I'm gonna make it readable only when highlighted put it under an LJ-cut. It is slightly gross, so you have been warned.
My pee smells like my antibiotics, and I have liquidy poo - thanks to them antibiotics.
Tonight I spent about three 1/2, four hours to finally pack up my Salon Is. They're going out tomorrow with me to work. Weeee!
Oh, and it also sucks because I can't eat until an hour after taking my antibiotics, and can't eat 2 hours before taking it. Poo.
