Writers! A process question.
After sharing some of my notes a few posts back, and getting some general inquisitive noises: what is your process in terms of preparing for a fic?
Do you make notes? If so, what about? Do you jot down dialogue, ideas, scenes, character notes? Do you review canon? Research the issues? Look for relevant images and collect them in a folder? (I do this.) Create a music playlist? Do something utterly different from this? Do nothing at all?
