Stuff
So Iim fially going to end up in truck #10! It was supposed to be a suprise, bt word leaked and I figured out that when we move north, I'll be taking the purple Peterbilt (#10). Truck #3, the one I've been driving, will also be going north, but with the other half of the crew.
There was a minor accident at one of the elevators a few days ago with #10. Two guys at the elevaor who were supposed to be monitoring trucks going over a portable pit/auger contraption, some damage was done to part of one of the fuel tanks. It as leaking well until a valve was turned off. Now the truck has access to only one tank. One is sufficient... but plans are to get the truck fixed once we are up in the Bismark area.
It has been raining some in recent days, so we've been watching satellite tv, playing video games, and I've been trying to get online. Weather really messes with the signal. One of the guys in our trailerhouse said that using the satellite internet by a window in his bedroom helps. That's where I am now. It does seem better but only by using it over the course of days or weeks and different weather will I be sure.
I got pretty tired of not having a table to eat at here at the trailerhouse. We spent under $10 at Walmart a few days ago for a small folding table to use whike sitting on the couch. I'm loving it.
It's nice to have the time off, but too much sitting around makes me very *ANTSY.*
