I am looking into children’s books for adults: using the format and style of picture books but with a dark/satirical humor and dealing with “adult” topics.
Essentially I’m researching whether this could fly in the market. And you, as the target demographics, are the experts on this.
1. First thought (& intentionally open ended)?
2. What kind of story would make you pick one of these bad boys up? (Responses have ranged from threesomes to revenge with a twist)
3. What could make the concept fail?
4. Would you pay for a book like this? How (honestly) much?
