So, Forbes magazine decided to do some in-depth investigating to learn who the fifteen richest fictional characters in all the world might be. They are:
1. Santa Claus was too rich to count.
2. Richie Rich with 24.7 billion.
3. Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks had 10 billion.
4. Scrouge McDuck scored at 8.2 billion.
5. Thurston Howell III got 8 billion.
6. Willy Wonka followed with 8 billion, as well.
7. Bruce Wayne followed closely with 6.3 billion.
8. Lex Luthor has 4.7 billion.
9. J.R. Ewing had 2.8 billion.
10. Auric Goldfinger was 1.2 billion.
11. C. Montgomery Burns has 1 billion even.
12. Charles Foster Kane also has 1 billion.
13. Cruella De Vil has 875 million.
14. Gordon Gekko with 650 million.
15. Jay Gatsby ended the lsit with only 600 million.
On the radio this morning, all of the geeks and nerds were out in full force, calling the local radio station to complain that their favorite characters were not listed. Some of the ones left off? I heard complaints that Tony Stark wasn't listed. Nor the Sub-Mariner. Plus all of the characters from various books, etc. Even mythology... what about Midas? Everything he touched turned to gold.
::: sigh :::
I wanna be either rich... or be paid to do a job where all I have to do is calculate the worth of fictional characters.
