Sorry to those that expected Hilchan and I to be at Formoggio's last night. Originally, I was going to be there and Hilchan and Onyxdaisy were going to a sneak preview of The Brothers Grimm. Unfortunately, Onyx was not able to go, so I filled in. Bohotremere, Hil_chan, me, Girmalky, Gatorbear and Snowweasel all met up at the rave for the movie.
My review? Wait for it on DVD. Maybe cable. Hell, how about network television.
Folks, it had an interesting premise. It had te director. There were enough names that there should have been more to it. Unfortuantely, it just never took off like it should. Sure, it was cute to see the bassis for some of their stories, but I never felt the payoff. There wasn't any heart to it.
And the basis for who fought what seemed off, as well. I kept thinking that there would be a twist on who was on what side, but it never panned out. And the ending? Man, what a weak and unsatisfying way to end. The only thing it had going for it was that it meant the movie was over.

At least we didn't pay money to see it.
Tonight was supposed to be Star Wars, but Hilchan's ten year reunion is this weekend. She opted not to go for the big picnic thing tomorrow, but tonight is a meet and greet thing down at dave's, so I think that's where we'll be tonight. If things change, I'll let the appropriate people know.
Guess I can hold off on falling to the dark side for another week.
