Musical Listening Test
Just for the fun of it I took this musical listening test and was quite surprised by the result.
You always have to listen to two tunes and decide whether they are the same or different. In the first part, it's all about the key, e.g. when an F is replaced by an Fb in the second tune. In the second part, it's all about melody and rhythm, e.g. a crotchet becomes a quaver in the second tune.
I scored 29/30 in the first part and 26/30 in the second, which I think is quite all right. But what I would have never expected is how much more difficult I found it to actually complete the second part. Before I took the test, I had been convinced it would be the other way round.
