Updates on Hockey And Life
I know you're all excited.
So my Glads are in the Playoffs, and I'll be going on Easter. (Because the turn out will be small, I'm sure. It's the South. You can expect an emptier arena that day. Me? I'm a heathen who only cooks for the sake of it.)
For my NHL teams, I've settled on Sharks, Hurricanes, and Predators in that order. However, the Predators are closer, so they may move up. I watch pretty much anything Fox Sports South shows since it's the only way after Winnipeg won the Thrashers due to some pretty shoddy, underhanded games with Atlanta Spirit. (No one I know has 150 for a ticket to a game. Just saying.) All hail the Hawks or something. I've seen the Preds and Canes playing pretty regularly and the Sharks have played them both. First NHL game I saw on screen was Preds versus Sharks in a shoot out and overtime.
Anyone have any really easy to understand hockey term sites or books? Something that's dumbed down to say Math 98?
Now, I'm also on the hunt for either UGA or State acceptance since my illustrious illustrious school is more interested in federal funding based on numbers than based on letting seniors graduate. Seriously, some seniors have been bottle necked for 2 years waiting on one or two classes because the school is greedy and not stable. Let's hope I get into one school or the other for fall, so I can get a decent degree. Upper level mandatory classes are canceled to low enrollment, even though those 5 or less people may only need that class. I refuse to be 35 and stuck in the same undergrad school (that'd make 5 years for the last two years of a BA). Hell, I changed to English because of the crappy Psych program's inability to have upper classes. Glad I didn't choose Criminal Justice or Poli Sci. Seriously. It's that bad.
