Top Ten Female Stargate Aliens
(Go Team Antihero!)

Now, you'll notice my love of diner outfits in these caps. Sorry, but. Well, Alice was a major influence in my life growing up. I blame Flo ("Kiss my grits, Mel!") for all my problems.
1. Vala Mal Doran

(Resourceful, quick-witted, former thief turned member of SG-1, unrepetent flirt, confident.)

There's nothing to be gained by second guessing yourself. You can't remake the past, so look ahead… or risk being left behind.
-"Counterstrike"

2. Teyla Emmagan

(Cool, collected, badass leader that chooses to help the Tauri after they create the great Wraith awakening.)

Col. Steven Caldwell: [over radio] Dr. McKay, What's your status?
Teyla: Dr. McKay is... not here.
Col. Steven Caldwell: What?
Teyla: He had to...
Ronon: He had to check something on the Wraith pod.
Teyla: Yes, the Wraith pod. He had to check the... biometrics receiver, needed to reconfirm the frequencies of the normal feedback loop.
Col. Steven Caldwell: Why isn't he on his radio?
Teyla: Well, actually we have been having trouble reaching him ourselves. I think it may have something to do with... interference from the um... magnetic shielding of the pods.
Ronon: [sardonically] Yeah, shielding.
Teyla: Ronon was just about to check on him, see what is taking him so long.
Col. Steven Caldwell: Alright go get him, light a fire under him.
Teyla: Right away.
Col. Steven Caldwell: And I want a status report as soon as his radio is working. Caldwell out.
Ronon: [to Teyla] Nice stalling.
- "Aurora"

3. Adria

(Vala's baby by way of Jesus making who ages faster than a kid on Days of Our Lives and is a tad...dogmatic in people following the Ori.)

I'm trying to bring an entire galaxy from darkness into light. In order to do that, all doubt must be removed or it will spread like a cancer. It's that simple.
- "Counterstrike"

4. Sha're/Amonet

(Daniel's wife that was taken to be host to Apophis's snakey mate. Lucky her.)

Daniel: Well if it wasn't for Sha're I probably…She was the complete opposite of everyone else. She practically fell on the floor laughing every time I tried to do some chore that they all took for granted. Like um, grinding yaphetta flour. I mean, have you ever tried to grind your own flour?
- "Children of the Gods"

5. (Wraith) Queen

(Those who command majority of the Wraith. Think bees. Also scary and very, very hungry. Ask Sheppard.)

Sumner: Colonel Marshall Sumner, United States Marine Corps.
Queen: So little fear. Is it valour ... or ignorance?
Sumner: We travelled through the Stargate as peaceful explorers.
Queen: You must eat, yet you resist your hunger. Why?
Sumner: Why have you taken my people prisoner?
Queen: You trespassed upon our feeding ground.
Sumner: Feeding ground?
Queen: All living things must eat. In this I’m sure we are similar. You feel hunger even now - I can sense it. Yet you resist. Why?
Sumner: Why do you care?
Queen: Hunger is distasteful.
Sumner: [looking at Toran's corpse] Looks to me like the food didn’t agree with him.
Queen: There we are quite dissimilar, Colonel Sumner. (She leans over Toran, running a long fingernail down his head.) We don’t require our food to agree with us.
- "Rising"

6. Sora

(An unhappy daughter that wants to kick Teyla's butt.)

Sora: [waves knife] This was my father's! It was handed down from his father.
Teyla: [pulls out her knife] If you want to fight this way sora…I will win. You will have avenged no one.
Sora: [fight stance] We'll see.
- "The Eye"

7. Oma Desala

(She who kept helping Daniel ascend...and then kicked Anubis's ass.)

[In an Ascended-plane holding place set as a diner, waitress Oma chats with Daniel.]
Dr. Jackson: Menus?
Oma Desala: We don't need them here; just order what you'd like.
Dr. Jackson: Okay. I'll have the truth with a side-order of clarity, please.
Oma Desala: The replicator version of Sam was in your head, trying to access the knowledge buried in your subconscious, but you gained control of her instead. She killed you to stop you. That's where I stepped in. How's that?
Dr. Jackson: Pretty clear.
Oma Desala: Well, we aim to please! Customer comes first, you know!
- "Threads"

8. Morgan Le Fay

(Ancient who finally fought and destroyed Adria after leaving bread crumbs for Daniel to find.)

Adria: No! You can't take away my power!
Vala: I think... we just did.
Adria: You will all burn in the fires of eternal damnation!
Morgan le Fay: Not if I have anything to do with it.
Adria: You're no match for me.
Morgan le Fay: [smiles] I am now
- Ark of Truth

9. Perna

(Hoffan - not to be confused with the Hoff - doctor who worked with Carson and was just as determined as he was.)

[Discussing the Hoffan drug to keep Wraith from feeding on the population.]
Perna: What do you think?
Beckett: That it goes against everything I believe in. There’s an oath among medical people where I come from. It begins, “First, do no harm.”
Perna: Important words to you.
Beckett: More than words, Perna.
Perna: “The battle rages at the very threshold of our laboratory now. Those of us working to the last know that these few final hours have been dearly purchased, yet our concentration has not waned. We cannot hope to save ourselves but we can hope that one last insight, one last revelation before we take our dying breaths, may prevent this terrible day from happening again.”
Beckett: Ferrel’s last journal entry.
Perna: More than words, Carson.
Beckett: I understand that. I do. But there are too many unknowns. We need time to determine the possible side-effects ...
Perna: There is no time! Are you so afraid of making a mistake that you can no longer see what we’re up against?
Beckett: This isn’t about making mistakes, Perna - it’s about the end justifying the means, and in our profession that’s a very slippery slope. We have no idea if this’ll work. We could be sacrificing that man to a monster.
Perna: There will be another to take his place.
Beckett: That’s just what I’m afraid of.
- "Poisoning the Well"

10. Lya

(Nox who seemed to be a complete doormat but in fact wasn't.)

Maj. Carter: I thought the Nox were pacifists.
Lya: I merely hid the weapon, I did not fire it.
Major Carter: Ah. Pretty fine line you didn't cross.
Lya: Yes, it is.
- "Pretense"
