First, Happy Birthday sabrina_pandora. I hope you had a good day of it. And didn't meet up some of the crazy Atlanta drivers that seemed to be out and about earlier.
Two, Happy All Hallow's Eve everyone else. I hope you had/have fun and enjoy. I had one family of trick-or-treaters this year. Is it just me, or has the tradition kind of poofed with things like malls and grocery stores getting into it? I actually have a TON of candy left. Jackie, if you do come next week? Take some with you! I had like a 40 oz bag of bite sized Milky Way/3 Musketeers/Twix/Snickers. Seriously, I have the GOOD candy kids. Come visit next time.
Three, I just did my cape and bag for the party tomorrow. I don't think you understand how hard that was for me. I have no sewing skills. At all. Thank you, stitch witchery. Now I shall enjoy my holiday. And I still really, really need someone to do a quick once-over for my Charmed story so I can say I did indeed have a beta. It's like 7 of the rules.
Four, New Kids on the Block concert. It was...interesting. Two opening acts, each a 30 minute set. I loved Natasha Bedingfield. She was fabulous. And then there was Lady Gaga. Whoever the fuck she is. I wasn't too pleased. Techno music at high volume? Bad for me. It gives me a headache. So I could have done without this lady. Now, as for the Kids. I enjoyed it. I did not enjoy the fact with floorseats, I could still see fuckall because of twats getting on their chairs, screaming at Joey to marry them. First of all, you're too old for him. Sit your ass drunk 30 and 40 year old selves down. He's not gonna wanna marry someone who was so drunk they were surprised the beer was getting all over their stuff when they kicked it while jumping for joy the Kids were down in the floorseats. Jesus, you're stupid. That especially goes to the chick behind me that had at least 5 beers in about 3 hours. Doesn't sound bad, except, damn she was sloppy drunk. And she was screaming right in my ear. As for the concert, I liked that I knew I had some of the songs down and could follow the new ones, but meh. Not floor seat worth. I would have seen more over on the side, up higher. Let's hope I can see shit for the Sarah Brightman concert next month.
