I'm Back. For A Minute.

*twirls like a twirly thing* I decided to give SUP the opportunity to either make their case or hang themselves. They've got about two months, so I'll be updating until then. Or maybe until after Dragon*Con. We'll see. So tell me anything I've missed that I haven't commented on.

My friend has a Nissan Versa and really likes it. foreverseenstar really wants a Honda Fit.

Congrats on the GPA! That's awesome!

And I used to be a Neopets addict, but I managed to wean myself off. If I ever go back again I know it'll be all over...

Does the Versa have the giddyup and go in traffic? Simple question, I know, but you've seen Atlanta traffic, right? I thought it looked nifty, seems big enough for a single person. I don't really need a sedan. My school seems to have quite a few of both models. Did foeverseenstar say why she likes the Fit? I know it's been in other markets forever but I know very little about it. And as long as I don't get the orange, I'll be a-okay.

I was so proud of that GPA. I've never, ever gotten on a Dean's List in all my on-off years of college and it was the first full-time semester I take. I find that rather awesome.

I use Neopets as an information diffuser. Sometimes you just can't handle anymore information, ya know? Especially after a test or final. And I can scream and curse at the site without feeling so bad; better a game than my godmom. Frustration makes me cranky. Ask anyone who's ever been in the car with me.

I'll ask her about the Versa, but I haven't noticed problems with that. And yeah, Atlanta traffic is freakin' scary. Even in bumper to bumper somehow everyone is driving 70mph. foreverseenstar says she likes the Fit because it's a Honda and they're good, reliable cars that she's familiar with. She also thinks the Fit is really cute.

And I hear you on the Neopets. It's a great distraction.

Yay! I like making informed decisions, especially if I'm putting down a lot of money. I've seen some Versas go like 75-80mph on I-85, but I didn't know if it was anomaly. We have to go 70 mph in order to get to the areas where it's bumper-to-bumper. I usually fly on the highways at 70-75mph. I have to go into town a lot from the suburbs. Like I go to school 4 days a week right now and I'll do two next week.

Have you seen our traffic hours, though? 7:00-10:00am and 4:00-8:00pm. It's insane. Even on 2-85 where we're speed demons. The entire reason I looked at Nissan and Hondas was their reliability. I looked at the average gas mph for domestic, and yeah, no. I drive my mom's Taurus in this traffic. I have to fill up the tank like 3 days a week because of the crappy.

It's awesome for when I wanna kill someone. I can scream at the stupid flash games that never go fast enough.

She said that the pickup on the Versa is about average. She says she loves it though and it gets great gas mileage (30-35mpg). She used to have a Mazda and she says she loves her Versa 15x more than that car.

Yeah, driving in Atlanta is pretty terrifying. You people have like 8 lanes going across, all of it bumper to bumper, and yet all of it moving the normal speed of cars. I am amazed I've made it out of there alive. :)

Average is good. My mom's Taurus has some serious horsepower, but it's wasted on freaking station wagon. I'm leaning towards a Versa more and more. I need to rent one for a couple days this weekend and early next week. Better safe than sorry. My last car was an '89 Taurus with rust holes since it was from Mass originally. Apparently y'all have hard winters up in the Northeast. Basically you're saying her car doubles what my mom's gets. Sweet!

It's INSANE here this year. The 75/85 connector fucked six ways to Sunday. I'm going to go to the hotel a day early so I don't have to deal with all the traffic arriving. I don't have class on Tues/Thurs next semester (not next week like I said last time) so I'll enjoy my day off.
