Another plea for sanity...
Dear SGA Fandom,
I toe-dip back into fandom for the first time in like six weeks or more, and what do I find? More Woobie!Rodney! For fuck's sake, people. Didn't we go over this with the great Lemon Incident? He's not you. He will never be you. Why? Because he's not real. And if he was, I'm pretty sure he'd shred you to pieces without blinking. He's not maligned, unloved, secretly a very delicate person. He has his own issues, so your problems aren't necessary. Rodney isn't fat, but he's not skinny either. And the scenes in Season Three weren't mean when his group teased him. They're friends. They tease everyone. Didcha miss the random Marine comment? Or the fact that Rodney calls Ronon and Teyla, Xena and Conan? And the comments about John's lack of direction abilities?
Woobie!Rodney is about as appealing as Woobie!Lex on estrogen pills. For god's sake, catch a clue or two. He can be insecure without being a one-winged butterfly.
