Pretty much. See, I worked at PAPT for 8 months and did it well, even. But my mom decided that when I had her drive me to work a couple weekends because I was blacking out on my old insulin, so I could give them 2 weeks notice (which I had already done the day before), she said that her and stepdad decided it wasn't worth her time to take me to/from, so I had to literally walk out on a job that Sunday. That's so not going to make me get a job now because you know the attitude when they tell that I walked out. *sigh* My mom is like the leader of not wanting their kid and making it known my passive-aggressive behavior.
I should have finished that my mom decided that it wasn't worth her time, at all. Stepdad and mom fucked up my damn good reference because as "it wasn't worth her time" to drive me about 20 minutes from my house (added to the 15-20 from hers). Remember that accident I had last April? Yeah, that was my wake up call. First incident (non accident) and second incident (accident). Then Mama showing her ass.
I did tell the interviewers, but they still have to call and get my reference from PAPT, and that looks bad on me. Which means I can't get a job. (And holy crap, reading the journal entries again, wow, my life's still in the same damn place it was nearly a year ago. *sigh*)
Mama showing her ass. That should work. And no. It was 15-20 minutes away by car, about a four hour walk. We don't have a bus that'll get me there. The Atlanta bus lines only go around the perimeter, and I live outside it. (My job was right at the border.) We have a county one, but they only go to specific stops, and job wasn't one of them. I would have had to take a taxi, and only getting 8/hr at 21 hours a week, I couldn't afford that option. Godmom would have taken me, but I worked the late shift, and she can't drive at night. Hence the problem. Daddy would have taken me, but he got up at 4:30am and wouldn't have gotten home until 11pm. Not enough sleep for his job. Mama doesn't work so it wouldn't have hurt her to do it.
