You broke my...TOOTH?

Couple of quick points.

1) Broken tooth hurts like a mother trucker. I've been drugged up all day and last night it hurt until 5am. Long short: I'll be glad when Thursday gets here and my tooth is taken out. I need to stay home tomorrow but that's not going to be possible. I'll have to leave the lovely Tylenol 4s alone tonight so I can run to ( Read more... )

I don't feel much better and it wasn't even interview. It was like all the people interested met up and then they'll go from our resumes or some crap. It was really odd. I hope I get it, but the place was kinda weird. *shakes head* And like I asked about my Tylenol 4s since I'll have to be on them a couple times after my tooth extraction, and they do drug tests. They acted like I shouldn't have asked or something. *shakes head* It was really, really odd.

I think it's better to warn them about any meds you have taken rather than have the test show positive and ruin your chances of getting the job. I've always been up front about that stuff.

You'd think so, but apparently not. That's just how it's done or something. Being honest and asking for a perfectly valid reason? So not on. Or something. They confuse me. A lot.

And it was sweet since it's the only one I've been given today. I have no one to give me a Valentine, it was all "Awwww!!" for me.

Well, hopefully it won't hurt anything. Maybe they're not used to people being so honest? I dunno.

I'm glad you liked it. Sometimes I feel bad being the only one of my friends who has someone, and I didn't want anyone else to feel forgotten about today.

Don't feel bad. You're lucky, it's just VDay kinda reminds someone you're alone. It can be aggravating.

VDay has never been that big of a deal to me. Only now because it's mine and Scott's anniversary (totally accidental). Otherwise it's just another day. *shrugs*

*grins* I broke up with one of my boyfriends when I was 17 on VDay. He lied, and as I put it, "I'm kicking your ass to the curb." I don't play that shit.

My ex-BF were on and off for about 7 years. We never spent a valentine's together. I think the only other one was my exhubby, and we split up like 2 days later.
