So a random fact of the day (since I haven't done one in a while): if I tell you I've been listening to Crash and Burn for more than six repeats in a row? I'm in a very weird place, usually the onset of a bout of blues that lasts awhile (I will not call it depression since I wasn't ever diagnosised as such). However, that's not a problem day since this is the first time I've listened to it. It's just on my play list.
Okay, so other parts. How weird is it that Ernesto (which, really, how scary can that name be, honestly?) is hitting on the anniversary of Katrina? I hope everyone that was affected last year is doing well, now, recovering slowly. I hope the Gulf Coast flourishes and teaches nature what kind of grit mankind is made of. I know it's going to be a slow to be done thing, but here's to hoping all the things that needed changing are done during this time. And for those dealing with Ernesto, I hope nothing bad happens because of mother nature's pms.
My aunt is really starting to drop in her energy, which considering the amount of treatment she's had in the past year, no wonder. She's still living in a state of denial (and I mean the kind that if I could bottle it, no one would have a single low-esteem issue, since she's convinced her neighbor man wants to take her to bed...which, granted isn't that abnormal considering the number of men since her husband's death have, including my father and stepdad) so I'm thinking it's starting to sink in and that's causing the kick up of this. Yesterday was chemo, and my mom needed to go to her own doc. Neither one ever thought it ask me, the one who has been volunteering all along to help her, and so my aunt was stuck up there two hours when I could have had her home and stopped to get her meds. My family, dysfunction at it's best, when you consider my aunt was bitching (rightly so) and my mom was annoyed (after about 4 calls in two hours at a doc's office, understandable). When I asked, they both said "Oh, I didn't think of that." Gee. Thanks. Appreciate it. Really.
I think that's all, really. Oh, Sci-Fi can blow me for taking off Dark Angel yesterday to put wrestling on, which I haven't watched since Pretty Boy Rick Flair, or whatever the the hell his name was, was wearing pink and Sting looked less like a movie extra reject for The Crow, and more like the good guy. Yeah, for those dating it, probably '91 or lower.
