I think most of us had already figured this out ages ago. I wish he didn't have to do it this way though. It just seems like it was a move like when Jonathon from Who's The Boss? had to do it, in order to take a little control of his life. I am thrilled he's doing this his way. He seems like a good guy (the adorable puppy kind) so I hope this lifts a weight off him. If anyone has a problem with it (or unbelievably didn't see it coming) then they're not worth a thing. It had to be hard, and yeah, I support him a 100%. Just want him to be happy the most he can be.
