Earthlink can kiss my ass
So, I hate Earthlink with a fucking passion. Until my disc gets here, I can't undo something that their retarded ass toolbar/accelerator did. Hijacked a file or some shit, like I have to press cancel 10 times everytime I open a folder. All very annoying. In order to get online finally, I had to hit the system restore on XP, the one where you pick a date. God, all I wanted to do was cancel it, get Bellsouth since we have them as our phone company. Of course their dial up has TWO numbers THAT DON'T WORK. I swear to god. When I installed their software it fucked up the Earthlink, and honestly. Oh, I need to cancel my free trial of AOL now. Huh. Better go do that or I'll get charged tomorrow. Had to use THAT last month when I got this computer so I could download the retarded Earthlink shit.
You know, I get that they want people to use DSL and Cable, but right now? That's not an option for me. It's just not, because I don't have a job and can't afford to pay more than 10 bucks a month. Sorry for them but not everyone is made of money. Seriously, the dialup companies need to realize that upgrading isn't always a viable option. *sigh*
Okay, going to cancel AOL now. Be back later, after many issues of finally getting the fuck through. I spent from about 1:30am -3:30am plus about an hour from 1-2pm and from 5-7:15pm trying to get it work, even remotely. God I really hate Earthlink.
ETA: Dude, I have five more months free with AOL (something about my computer and signing up and getting six months free) so I'm keeping them. Seriously. Fuck the other companies, I got free internet until Christmas Eve. Then it'll only be 14.95/mon as opposed to 25.90/mon. So, yay for good news. Makes me a lot happier.
