So, I could probably say every bit of SGA I've seen before today would fit into maybe two hours, so two episodes, and that'd be a hodgepodge. However, for some unknown reason, I've been watching it. God, I don't know where to tell you to start. I mean. Gah. When I first went down, I started from the fics and went backwards towards the show, piecing stuff together for myself.
Gateworld will give you most of the season by season by-play, plus you can look up and and all characters on their omnipedia.

I know there are some fanon links. You can take a gander at my SGA discussion memories for some fun stuff.

Oh, and it'll probably give you a really good idea of what's going on if you check out the pilot movie - Rising 1 & 2. It introduces you to most of the characters and how the show is going forward, plus it's totally entertaining.

*flails* I'm just. I love SGA beyond all words. J and I have been maxing out on all the eps on scifi today. One of my favorites is on next at 9 - Inferno! At least, I think that falls next in the lineup. GAH!! The love. It overflows. Especially for David Hewlett.

I can't see the pilot movie because I don't have it handy. *grumbles* And I'm not buying a 44 dollar DVD set. I tried started watching the pilot when it first came on, but I missed it and then knew it wasa bit late in the game. Now I have two seasons to make it up for it seems.

I got all mad when I couldn't finish watching the one that one at 5, the royal bloodline one. I had to go get dinner then. Sucked too, because I all into that one.

Did you watch Inferno??!! With all the cockblocking and pouting and flirting???? And the super volcano?? That show makes me too too happy.

I saw parts...so I'll say like 98.5%. You know me. I have the attention of a 3 year old. But I still went...I'm SO GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS FOR COCKBLOCKING HIM JOHN!! Of course it was in my head towards the TV because mama would have put me in the padded cell if I'd screamed that outloud.
Also... dude! SUPER VOLCANO!

*laughs* It's all subtext :) You gotta start reading all the tags to the show. The way people can spin it into McShep is amazing *g* Or, actually. I guess we can spin anything into John/Rodney!

I think my Atlantis slashdar is completely broken. Woe. Actually, I don't think I have a pairing on the show yet. I need to watch the full background (which I can now thanks to Dacey - who, omg is so sweet!) first.

Ahh! That Gateworld only has season two summaries and the first episode summary. I need the first season before I can understand the second...
