So I've finally got all my final grades back, and I'm kinda indifferent about them. I've definitely got the average I need to get into honours next year, so it's just a matter of keeping that up. But if I see another B+ on my academic history I think my head will explode.
The best mark has to be my Audit and Tax mark (ridiculous combination for a paper, I know). And I flunked the Audit half of the paper, so I must have (to quote my father) "licked that Wally's carriage". At first I thought he was implying, erm, relations with my lecturer*. But he explained he was mocking
the other one. However that works.
So, in my quest to up my grade average, I'm off to ace my summer paper. With skill and flair. Ha.
*Which reminds me of the best advice I've received in a long time. Ladies and gentlemen, the txt message I still have saved on my phone:
You can do anything you want. Just have faith in yourself. And sleep with the lecturer, rather than during the lectures.
