'lo all. I hope you all had a good new year's eve and weren't terribly hungover on the 1st (like myself despite working most of that evening and not drinking a lot).
In the days since Christmas I've managed to spend all my Christmas money (and then some) and waste away my days with work, hugs and highly-skilled laziness. I picked up a classy little huge "cocktail bible" full of recipes and photos of pretty coloured drinks. So naturally I went out and spent the rest of my money on glasses (cute lil' brandy glasses and some sophisticated martini glasses from living and giving) and various bottles of spirits. I'll post pictures and recipes as I make them for those of you who are interested, all in the spirit of sharing.
I'm watching Becoming Jane again after watching Atonement last night. James McAvoy's caught our attention. And oh, Atonement has got to be the one movie where I've said that Keira Knightley was absolutely gorgeous. It's the hair. And the lipstick. And the nurse uniform. That's not mean to sound dodgy. Honest.
